Drafting 3D CAD Models

CAD also known as Computer Aided Drafting can create 3D CAD Models for architectural, or mechanical drafting.

The process of 3D modeling begins with a 2D blueprint constructed of lines, arc’s, and dimensions that will be transformed into a 3D model. This process is often known as CAD conversion, or to convert 2D to 3D. Either way it’s the same process and is performed by a CAD drafting service which has special CAD software to perform the necessary task to complete the 3D drawing process.
CAD drafting companies can be found online or locally depending on where your located. Most of these drafting companies have set prices and can generate the 3D design that you want. Some specialize in architecture, and others in civil, or electric engineering. No matter what drafting company you use make sure that you have your 2D blueprints properly drawn to convert these 3D models accurately. If a problem arises most companies will work with you, but in a lot of situations the drafting service will charge the customer more to correct engineering mistakes.
3D CAD models can be used, and are used to create just about anything the mind can imagine. Whether you’re an architect, mechanical engineer,  or an inventor who needs a prototype CAD 3D models are your solution. CAD is the design standard for the youth of today, and for the generations to come in the future. The days of drafting with a drafting board are over, and because technology within design allows for processes to be completed more efficiently within the field; there’s no going back.
